King's Dominion International Church
About King's Dominion International Church History
New Life & Love was founded by the late Pastors Earl & Brenda Thompson in May of 1990 with a bible class in their home. The Lord blessed the work of their hands. As a result of their faithfulness, many souls were won to Christ and the ministry grew.
In 1993 an expansion of the ministry and mission took place and New Life and Love Family Church became New Life and Love Outreach Ministries. Pastor Earl Thompson was a man of the Word and taught line upon line and precept upon precept. Pastor Brenda Thompson was an exhorter who loved to sing. Many have been touched by their obedience to the Lord. Founders Earl & Brenda Thompson were called home to be with the Lord.
Christopher Wetherspoon served faithfully under our late founders as an Assistant Pastor. In 2008, Apostle Marshall and Prophetess Catherine Davis of Chicagoland Christian Center, installed Christopher D. Wetherspoon as Pastor of New Life & Love Outreach Ministries. He has served on several boards which focus on building better communities in the inner city. He enjoys teaching and encouraging Christians to reach their full potential in Christ and making disciples of all who do not know the Lord. The Elders at Kings Dominion Church are taught servanthood principles about reaching the lost and serving with joy.
In 2012, after a time of prayer, Pastor Chris took the vision to the next level by changing the name of the ministry to King’s Dominion International Church, which reflects the King of King-our Savior and Lord.
We the saints of the Most High God will love one another, help one another and support one another. King's Dominion International will be a haven where men and women and children can come. A place where men, women, and children can be taught the Word of God for the purpose of causing spiritual, social and financial maturity to take place. An oasis of love where men, women and children can participate in the building of a habitation for God where He can induct individuals and cause them to be aware of the Great Commission.
We will be active bricks, while Christ is the Chief Cornerstone. We will be a part of the building which helps feed, clothe and educate men, women, boys and girls. We will provide spiritual support by praying, witnessing and allowing the light of Christ to shine forth.
There's no better place to be than the services of King's Dominion International on Sundays and Wednesdays
